New month, new blog post. This month is the wonderful Ithaka Coffee in Digbeth, Birmingham. Located in the old custard factory on Gibbs Street, it's a cool spot for a coffee shop, and not just a coffee shop but the World Barista Champion Dale Harris Coffee Shop.

A fan favourite in London and the south of England, these relatively new kids on the block are changing people's coffee palates right here in the capital. Nestor Lasso X Cata by Assembly

A roast record I have been waiting to do for awhile, one of the big dogs of speciality coffee, Assembly, and this is a great pick to showcase them. Based in Brixton, London, and enjoyed in plenty of cafes up and down the UK. If you have ever visited a speciality coffee shop, there's a good chance you have had Assembly's house espresso roast.
